After homebrew coder martypsp re-compiled version 1.1 of the emulator PSPVICE for the PSP Slim & Lite last December, its original owner Christophe decided to try his adept hands again on the Sony handheld-compatible Commodore 64 emulator.

Which brings all of us now to the latest release, PSPVICE v1.2. Christophe outlined the changes pertinent to this build:

  • Support huge ZIP archives.
  • Support GameBase64 format (V05).
  • Tool for recompressing GameBase and save lot of memory of PSP stick.
  • Speed up zip parsing.

Take note that PSPVICE v1.2 doesn’t come with its own Readme.txt file so be sure that you know what you are doing to avoid problems during installation and usage. The source link below leads to Christophe’s page for PSPVICE where you can obtain more information.
