Suda 51 talks Xbox 360 Project, No More Heroes, Project Zero on Wii
Curious as to what Suda 51 will be knee-deep in developing, now that No More Heroes has finally rolled out? Then head over to the full article as we get a glimpse of the future with Goichi Suda – and so far, things are looking pretty good, even if it’s looking a pretty bit obscure. More on this as soon as you hit that Read More button.
With No More Heroes already wrapped up and making a lot of waves in the videogaming community, we can’t help but wonder just what Suda51 will be working on next. Of course, this question is readily answered with Tecmo’s revelation in last year’s TGS when they announced that the next Fatal Frame will be on the Wii, and none other than Grasshopper Manufacture will be developing it.
Here’s the kicker, though: it seems that he’s also working on yet another project on the Wii alongside the next Fatal Frame. Awesome.
This comes directly from an interview with Suda 51 himself, where the developer hedged a few questions regarding the status of his next projects. He did confirm (somewhat) that he IS involved with the next Fatal Frame, and that his project for the Xbox 360 is still up in the air. His statement, verbatim:
MmmÂ… yeah, IÂ’m preparing the project for the 360 but just preparing, itÂ’s nothing confirmed yet. Other question, I canÂ’t say anything about it. ItÂ’s just secret.
Secrets, secrets and more secrets! A veritable pile of them! But if anything, this pretty much confirms that the next title in the Fatal Frame series will be on the Nintendo Wii, and that Grasshopper Manufacture is indeed involved in the project.
We can’t help but be excited. The mind-numbing horror of Fatal Frame mixed with the insane, trippy stylings of Suda 51 will definitely be something to watch out for, wouldn’t you think? In any case, updates as we get them, and you can check out the full interview via the read link below. It’s in Spanish, so you’ll have to translate if you’re not familiar with the language.
