Resistance 2 screenshots: those wacky Chimera are back

If that face looks vaguely familiar to some of you that’s because that’s what the new Chimera soldiers will look like in Insomniac Games‘ upcoming sequel to the Resistance series. We were able to grab some screenshots featuring some of the great visuals in Resistance 2. The developers really outdid themselves with this highly anticipated sequel looking pretty good so far.

Oh, those rascally Chimera troops are at it again sowing chaos and discord in the world as they come back for another run on the PlayStation 3 in Insomniac Games‘ Resistance 2. In some high definition screenshots we were able to grab, you can take a look at some of the new looks given to the Chimera in the latest iteration to the series.

Judging from the screenshots, the game definitely looks bigger and better than before. The new revamped looks given to the Chimera soldiers definitely don’t make them look like mutated cast offs from the previous game, although we’ll have to wait and see if they’re as tough as they look in the upcoming Resistance title.

Asides from that, we can’t wait for the whole 60-player online rumbles that the developers mentioned Resistance 2 will be packing once it’s released. Hopefully, they’ll be dropping word soon on when we can catch Resistance 2. In the meantime, check out the screenshots we have from the game below.
