Electronic arts, Image Comics announce Dead Space book series
It seems fitting that a survival-horror title will get a comic book of its own. That’s exactly what will happen with Electronic Arts‘ Dead Space, as EA and Image Comics have joined forces to bring you the story behind the story.

Granted, a gripping survival-horror title greatly benefits from a good narrative, but what about the story behind the story?
Electronic Arts (EA) and Image Comics hope to tackle this with the upcoming six-issue comic book series based on Dead Space (PC, Xbox 360, PS3).
Of interest to note is the fact that artist Ben a and author Antony Johnston will both be working on the Dead Space comic book. As far as chronology goes, the comic will serve a prequel to the game.
While the first issue of the Dead Space comic will be made available at stores on March 3, fans may opt to get the limited edition version of the issue (complete with exclusive cover art) at this week’s San Francisco WonderCon.
Templesmith and Johnston will sign the first issue of their comic book at the convention both today and tomorrow at the EA/Image Comics booth. You’ll receive a free copy if you’re among the first 25 people to show up on either day.
