Arts Bulletin Download for PSP Users

London’s Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA) has made art download via PSP possible, starting with its 10-minute arts bulletin, ICA: The Show. It features emerging New York band Battles and the recent fantasy film Mirrormask. Each show has four segments – features, film, music and design, and it is available for download at yourpsp.com

ICA Creative Director Ekow Eshun said: With ICA: The Show, we’re identifying the best in contemporary culture and connecting with the huge audience of PSP users.”  The partnership of ICA and PSP does not only put art and culture directly in people’s hands, but it also develops a new and lasting relationship with a community of visually aware young opinion formers.

ICA is the only arts institution to date which has made use of the handheld console to promote its arts initiative. Can’t blame ICA. It’s just banking on the popularity of the PSP, which has sold 185,000 units in the first four days in the UK.
