Gears of War 2 update with screens
Epic Games has released their news update for their much-anticipated sequel, Gears of War 2. And not only did they give out the info, they also sent out four gorgeous new screens. Do check them out at the full article.
Although you guys may have been disappointed to learn that the four-player co-op remains up in the air for Epic Games‘ Gears of War 2, we hope you’d be at least pleased to know that Epic has released the official list of full details for this title.
Okay, here’s the juice on what’s in store for you, definitely. First, and obviously, players will be continuing the story of Marcus Fenix as he leads the Delta Squad on a series of action-packed missions. More interesting is how the overall tone of the sequel is “more badass – replete with new weapon-specific executions, chainsaw duels and shocking boss fights.”
Chainsaw duels, eh? Sounds yummy. Also, Unreal Engine 3 raises the graphics bar to a whole new level. So yeah, you can expect a whole lot of blood and gore here, especially with the additional blood and bullet decals, advanced destructible environments, new weather effects, and the introduction of fluid objects.
As for that much-coveted co-op play, yes, there will be. But again, we just aren’t sure yet if it’s gonna be for four. Anyhow, that’s the short of what’s in store for you in Gears of War 2 for now. But we’ll be sure to keep you posted on more developments, and in the meantime, you can enjoy these new screens.
