Battle.net Forum section confirms Diablo 3 is coming
It may be too early to rise at 3:30 a.m. in a wonderful UK morning, but QJ.NET reader refractionpcsx2 happened to do so. And the first thing he did was check the Battle.net forums link we previously reported – the same one that supposedly should hold the Diablo 3 General Discussion section. And guess what he found? A Diablo 3 General Discussion section. Screenshot and more at the full story.
Jesus Christ’s bananas! Don’t say we didn’t tell you so. Now, on the eve of the last day before Blizzard‘s World Wide Invitational launches, we’ve learned from QJ.NET reader refractionpcsx2 that the so-called “D3 General” section in the Battle.net forums has appeared, and it shows that Diablo 3 will in fact be part of the online service’s game forums.
See for yourself. StarCraft II‘s own section is already in use at Battle.net for addressing the StarCraft community on the progress of unit balancing, art, and gameplay mechanics. We believe the same will be done for Diablo III as soon as Blizzard announces the game this weekend.
Don’t worry, folks. We know lots more cheers for World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King and StarCraft 2 will also be tossed around during the two-day Blizzard event. It’s just that this year marks the Lord of Terror’s eighth anniversary since Diablo II, and it’s time he got to boogie around next-generation gaming.
You heard it here first. More updates as we get them.
