Released back in April 2007 for purchase via download or mail delivery in Europe, Theatre of War is shipping west after several upgrade patches have passed. This action-packed title promised an authentic WWII experience, and many early adopters believe the game didn’t fall short of what it was touted to be.

There’s no reason to worry about purchasing a dated RTS, because the explosive Uber Patch which recently enhanced Theatre of War to version 1.10.0.81 will apparently be in the retail version. Through press wire, it has been confirmed that 11 multiplayer missions are available – something brought about by the update in January early this year.

As another adaptation of the devastating war, players have the chance to lead armies across seven campaigns, namely the US/UK, Soviet, German, French, Polish, Battle for Moscow, and Panzer Lehr in Normandy scenarios. Around 50 battles will take place, involving realistic armies equipped with faithful renditions of weapons during that period.
