Rumor: Home coming in ten days’ time?

Hmm. Here’s something interesting. PlayStation Home is currently in closed beta right? The start of the open beta hasn’t been given an exact date yet aside from a vague “by Christmas” target, but it looks like we could be seeing it in less than two weeks’ time.

We spotted this interesting little tidbit in a recent Home feature published on the Times Online UK website (emphasis ours):

To try Home, which is slated for release in the next 10 days, players must download a piece of free software from SonyÂ’s PlayStation store onto their own PS3.

Does the Times Online know something about Home that we don’t? Maybe, maybe not. take it with a grain of salt guys. As for us, we’ll keep our eyes peeled for any further developments in the coming days.
