Next Zune to have Xbox integration?

A job posting on Microsoft‘s website has revealed that there is some truth to the Xbox Zune rumors. It doesn’t absolutely guarantee a game-platform Zune, but it does suggest that the next Zune will have Xbox 360 integration.

A job posting on Microsoft‘s website has revealed that there is some truth to the Xbox Zune rumors. According to the posting, Microsoft is looking for a designer for the Zune Device UI, the Zune PC Client, and the Zune Xbox.

It doesn’t absolutely guarantee a game-platform Zune, but it does suggest that the next Zune will have Xbox 360 integration.

Now for those who didn’t know – like me, since I don’t own a Zune, like any sane person – Xbox Live and the Zune Marketplace both use Microsoft points.

Given that, it won’t be that much of a leap to see these two devices get it on. It’s not hard to imagine the Zune being able to download various media from the Xbox 360, much like the PSP’s own integration features with the PS3.
