GTA: Chinatown Wars first DS game to get 18 rating from BBFC, has 168 minutes of cut scenes

Yay for violent DS games! The BBFC has officially rated Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars with an 18 certificate. Gee, I wonder why. Chinatown Wars is now also the first official DS game to get a rating that high.

The game’s online listing also reveals that the game will have 168 minutes of in-game cut scenes. It also says that the game contains “very strong language and drug references” – although that feels a bit like stating the obvious.

There’s also some new screenshots for you guys. I like the stylized, cel-shaded Okami-ish feel. Very nitty-gritty.
