Reggie: Nintendo is just getting started

Reggie-boy...With the stellar market performance of the DS, the Wii, and their accompanying software, one would think that Nintendo has already reached the top of the climb and would soon start taking a breather. However, according to Nintendo of America‘s president Reggie Fils-Aimes, this is not the case.

In a recent interview, Fils-Aime has noted that despite the fact that there are now millions of Wii owners, all of whom range anywhere from the hardcore gamer to the first-timers, there is still a high demand for this console. So, because of this, he goes on to say that

Our work is just beginning. We’re dedicating ourselves to maximising both manufacturing and distribution full bore throughout 2007, to make sure everyone who wants to experience the future of videogaming can do so just as soon as possible

Well, from a lot of perspectives, we guess it only makes sense to keep at it when you’ve got a good thing going, right?
