Forbes calls Rock Band a Guitar Hero knockoff
Forbes recently accused Rock Band of being a “shameless knockoff” of Guitar Hero, only with added peripherals. Shame on you, Forbes. You know how much the truth hurts. EA responded to the accusation with a very firm no comment statement.

In a recent piece on Activision‘s big boss Bobby Kotick, Forbes recently accused Electronic Arts‘ Rock Band (360, PS3) of being a “shameless knockoff” of Guitar Hero:
EA also teamed with MTV to sell Rock Band, a shameless knockoff of Guitar Hero that added drums, bass and a microphone to the world of make-believe rock stars. EA says it is returning to an “auteur model” of designing games, taking bigger chances on fewer ideas.
