Hellgate: London will continue to run as free-to-play game
Even as Namco Bandai tried to salvage the little that was left of Hellgate: London, it will still be closing down on the 31st of this month, sadly. However, not all is lost forever as HanbitSoft, Korean publisher and developer, reassured that it will remain to be a free-to-play game.

Also, in an official press release, HanbitSoft even says that they are working on future updates to the game, this time with the objective of focusing on “strengthening community features” while retaining the original core gameplay.
In fact, there’s a “large-scale” patch coming soon, which will “combine the two game play modes, unifying the split two communities into one”.
