Hideo Kojima giving keynote at GDC 2009
Living legend of video gaming Hideo Kojima has agreed to deliver a keynote address at the 2009 Game Developers Conference. Hopefully he’ll be able to inspire a new generation of video game devs to keep pushing video game development, the way he always did.
Dammit I have to stop sounding like fanboy when I talk about Kojima.

Apparently he’s been invited to give a keynote many times before, but he had declined. According to the event director of the GDC:
The Game Developers Conference has invited Hideo Kojima to keynote every year for as long as I can remember, so we couldn’t be more excited that, at long last, he feels that it is time for him to address the game development community.
Anyway, he’ll be delivering the address “Solid Game Design: Making the ‘Impossible’ Possible.” If you’re a game dev who can’t wait to attend, or merely a stalker who just wants to yoink some of his silky hair, than you can catch his keynote on March 26 from 10:30 to 11:30 am PST at the Esplanade Room of the Moscone Center’s South Hall.
