Bayonetta coming this October?

So far, Platinum Games and Sega have only talked about a 2009 release for Hideki Kamiya’s “sadistically hard” (and impressively weird) action game, Bayonetta (PS3, Xbox 360). Sony Computer Entertainment’s European and American arms, however, have put up some decidedly more specific release dates on their respective game profile pages.

SCEA‘s Bayonetta game page lists the game’s release date as Fall 2009, while the SCEE game page actually gets even more specific and gives out a month: October 2009. There’s no date on the Bayonetta game page at Xbox360.com, but a simultaneous worldwide release on both consoles isn’t a far-off possibility.
