Nintendo DS Strikes A Pose In “Touch My DS” Fansite

Nintendo has been very aggressive in promoting the “touch” aspect of its popular handheld console.  It has been using the “Touch Generation” tagline to introduce games such as Brain Training and Sudoku Gridmaster to people who do not normally play games. This mildly tapped audience is what’s driving up sales of the DS, especially in Japan. And giving Nintendo a boost is a new fansite called Touch My DS. It showcases the Nintendo DS in various poses and touched by just about anything you can think of. The fun part is that you get to view pictures at random. Clicking on one image brings you to the next.  It’s just as addictive as playing the DS.
