Japan’s getting Final Fantasy XIII next week, but it seems some people just couldn’t wait to find out how the game fares in the eyes of reviewers. Just recently, Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu’s review of the game’s PS3 version seems to have been leaked on a Hong Kong-based forum.

The Famitsu reviewrs gave the game an overall score of 39, just a point shy from a perfect score. We coudn’t find any scans, so treat these Japanese review scores as pure rumor for now. You can check out a very rough (and at times nonsensical) translation of each Famitsu reviewer’s summaries below. Wonder what these’ll do to the already-inflated prices of the FFXIII PS3 Slim?

Beautiful graphics and excellent story.

…Rezu also fixed the image of characters, “the story of my own” is not Arubeku.
Comfort they get to play on but without this, what kind of first taste.
