Plants vs. Zombies GOTY Edition now available

The Game of the Year (GOTY) Edition of the adorably addictive Plants vs. Zombies is now officially out. PopCap Games didn’t launch it with much hype, although the publisher is set to make a revelation about something sometime early next week (save the August 2 date, remember?).

The Game of the Year (GOTY) Edition of the adorably addictive Plants vs. Zombies is now officially out. PopCap Games didn’t launch it with much hype, although the publisher is set to make a revelation about something sometime early next week.

Reportedly, the GOTY edition includes the original game, plus some 20 new achievements as well as the “Zombatar” character creator. The Zombatar will, of course, let you design your very own brain-munching, lawn-trespassing zombies.

It’s priced at US$ 19.99, although news also has it that those who have already purchased PvZ from the official website will get a GOTY upgrade for free.
