The Apprentice To Feature Xbox 360 Tonight
If the participants of this popular reality show don’t deliver what Wal-Mart and Xbox asked for, they’ll be fired. Well, maybe just one member from one of the two competing teams in The Apprentice, Gold Rush and Synergy, will get axed.
A few months back, Microsoft and Wal-Mart teamed up to provide a task for an episode of The Apprentice Season 5. They required the two teams to create an in-store interactive display that would show the digital entertainment lifestyle features of the Xbox 360, including the breadth of capabilities of this console. The teams had to accomplish this task within 24 hours using Wal-Mart products.
Tonight, May 15, The Apprentice Season 5 will be showing this episode of the two teams competing to show which of them is more creative in setting up Xbox 360 experiences in stores. This will be featured in the electronics department of 1,500 Wal-Mart stores, and Wal-Mart will also be distributing Xbox 360 demo disks featuring Apprentice footage, game trailers and movie trailers.
(Hopefully, this move will give the Xbox 360 a boost in the gaming market.)
