A new leak suggests the third phone 16 Pro roster color is “dark gold” rather than “brown.”

The iPhone 16 Pro will replace the blue titanium color with a new option.
Last updated 12 hours agoA photo posted by Maijin Bu, a leaker who is known for leaking information on a regular basis, shows what appears to be color samples from the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro lineup. The report suggests earlier photos of a brownish option called “desert Titanium” may have been misleading. Bu lists the colors as “white” black, gray, and gold in his report. He says that the gold is a very dark, deep gold. As with the iPhone 15 Pro line, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will likely continue to use titanium as their body material. A photo taken by Sonny Dickson, a fellow leaker, showed alleged iPhone 16 Pros in white, black, grey and a more bronze or brownish color that has been referred to “desert Titanium.” This shade is likely to replace the blue titanium color found on the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max. If the rumor is true, the iPhone 16 Pro will retain the natural titanium, white, and black color options. Commenters on Bu’s post suggested that a bronzish gold option might look better than the darker tone in Dickson’s photo of possible finishes. Maijin Bu posted a photo of alleged iPhone 16 Pro colors. Previous rumors claimed that the fourth titanium color for the iPhone 16 Pro or iPhone 16 Pro Max was a “rose” gold option. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicted the rose-colored titanium option first. Apple is expected hold an event in September to announce the entire iPhone 16 lineup. Apple is also expected to announce new Mac and iPad models as well as updated AirPods, new software and new Mac and iPad versions.
