The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar will be the first massively multiplayer online role-playing game set in the J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings world. After recently hearing about their Beta Program Contest, Turbine has gone ahead and released two massive screenshots for their anticipated game. Set in Middle-earth, these screens are specifically from the village of Archet. With classes such as Elves, Humans, Hobbits, and Dwarfs, the dynamic character alignment system will allow you to form Fellowships and wage war against the dark lord Sauron. This epic struggle will surely make for an interesting RPG to say the least, and hopefully we’ll be seeing this game on shelves by the end of the year.
