Microsoft and Eidos have showcased Age of Conanat the Games Convention at Leipzig, Germany. They have provided seven images painting a picture of just how fun it was showing the game to the German public – these images make us wish we could be there too.

To refresh your memory, Age of Conan is low fantasy-themed MMORPG in development by FunCom. It began internal beta testing since summer of 2006. The gameplay is split into two sections. The Single-player experience lets players play the game while being connected to the game’s servers, but without interacting with other players. It will see the player creating a character and then guiding that character through a traditional single-player, role-playing adventure. The second section is Online, where players may form guilds (player organizations) and take over territories and erect cities, which are vulnerable to attacks by both humanoid NPCs and players.

The game is slated to be released on May, 2007 and has received various critic awards at E3 2005 and E3 2006. Here are more of the images of Age of Conan in action at GC 2006.
