Apple Logo on PS3 Website: How Did That Happen!?
Hunt for the Apple Logo in this PS3 pic sent to us by MJUHMJMUH (thanks for that!). Impossible? Can’t see it? For reasons that we may never know and would be speculating about in the coming days, the Apple logo between the PS3 logo and the controller could be seen. This one is no hoax or photoshop trick, this pic was found in the official SCEA website. It looks pretty real to me…or maybe that’s what someone from SCEA wants us to believe. I am pretty sure that forums and message boards would be filled with speculations as to why something like this popped out.
As of now, this glitch has been fixed; so going over to the PS3 website isn’t gonna get you anything. Well, an official statement is still not being issued. But Sony representatives were saying that “in a recent update to the PlayStation 3 section of the playstation.com website, an external error was made during the upload process and the Apple icon was mistakenly placed on the site. We immediately fixed the problem and apologize for any confusion this may have caused.” Oh ok, we already began to think that Sony was just yearning for a lawsuit…or them working with Apple.
