Apple’s 24/7 Borg Mother Ship Arrives

Have you ever have an urge to buy an iPod at 3 am on a Sunday morning? Well your in luck because Apple is opening it’s first 24/7 Store.

This Midtown Manhattan store will be located inside the GM building. The entrance to the store will be a 32 foot glass cube which houses the stairs and elevators that will take you down into the 25,000 square foot apple store. The store will be the first store to offer a iPod Bar.

The store is expected to be completed in April and open in May

Currently Apple has 18 open stores and 27 that they are planning to open before the end of the fiscal year.
