Are you a Draenei Engineer? Wait for your patches!

Some melancholy news for the Draeneis and Engineers, of which my Draenei Engineering shaman is one of them. It looks like you’re going to have to wait a bit longer for your respective fixes to actually get any sort of actual remedy, according to Blizzard‘s GM, Tseric.

On two different posts, he notes how quests and engineering items were meant to be fixed for Draeneis and engineers, respectively. Well, their fixes haven’t been fullproof, because some quests are still impossible to get flagged for if you’re a Draenei, and some items are still impossible to make if you’re an Engineer.

In the instance of unfinishable quests, one Draenei by the name of Tamorak can’t seem to complete the Further Corruption quest in the Felwood that requires you to kill Xavaric and acquire his flute. In the instance of engineering items, Epitome notes the impossibility of finding cut citrine to make an item requiring it.

In both cases, Tseric notes that fixes will be applied in an upcoming content patch. The problem would be in finding out which patch update is actually the next date for a content patch and not simply a hotfix patch. All signs point to 2.1.0 as the upcoming content patch, but some are speculating that it could be before that. Hopefully, for the sake of Draenei engineers everywhere, it’ll come sooner rather than later.
