Assassin’s Creed gameplay video: more action in Montferrat

It’s hard not to believe Ubisoft Montreal’s Assassin’s Creed will live up to being next-gen even if it’s not Jade Raymond saying it, especially after seeing yet another gameplay video of the much anticipated title. The game that is expected to appear on the Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 late 2007 (PC version to follow next year) looks like it’ll be the star of the holiday season.

In this video, we see plenty of scenes in Montferrat that happen while players still have control of Altair. Ubisoft stays true to its promise of making Assassin’s Creed fully interactive, as events uncover without taking away the main character’s ability to move.

After watching some conversations, Altair sneaks his way to his target by climbing almost everything with ledges to avoid too much contact. Of course, he eventually runs into a big sword fight and ends up running away from enemy soldiers that are practically everywhere.
