Atlus to publish overseas via PSN?
Demon’s Souls was originally published by SCE in Japan. For some reason, they passed on that for North America, which is why Atlus is to thank for distributing it in the region. Unfortunately, Atlus didn’t have a European front, so when Demon’s Souls was set for PAL release, Namco Bandai picked it up for publishing. Fortunately, Atlus seems to have found a way around that little barrier.

Like many in the industry, Atlus relies on other publishers to distribute their games overseas. But according to two OFLC game ratings spotted by Siliconera, two Atlus games are heading to Europe with Atlus USA named as publisher. The two games are Shin Megami Tensei: Persona and Hexyz Force.
It’s a little tough publishing games in a region you’re not even physically in, yes? But if there’s no mistake about those game ratings, then we might see those two on the PlayStation Store.
