Australia: Big W’s upcoming Wii bargain
The Australian-based Big W department store has released a catalogue of their upcoming deals starting this March 29, and ending on April 7. Given that the Wii is already enjoying strong sales worldwide, we thought this may give buyers that extra little nudge to help them make their choice, as the store will open up its Wii console stock for a sum of AU$ 388 (US$ 314) – 11 dollars less than the Wii’s current retail price of AU$ 399 (US$ 322).
Alongside this console offer, the store is also setting up several Wii games for their planned sale. Spotted among the list are Sonic and the Secret Rings, Twilight Princess, and Medal of Honor: Vanguard, all of which will be sold for AU$ 88.84 (US$ 72). Lower in the price bracket, we find Rapala and Wing Island, to be sold for AU$ 78.83 (US$ 64). For the Aussie viewers reading this, set your calendars.
