Moz La Punk Interviews Pablo Belmonte

For those who don’t know Pablo Belmonte, maybe the following words will trigger your memory: Nintendo ON. If you still don’t know what I’m talking about… well… where were you around 11 months ago? Nintendo ON caused a huge amount of excitement shortly before E3 2005. Created by this talented artist, it fooled tons of people and intrigued tons of others. Moz La Punk has had the chance to interview the young Spanish prodigy on what his work as well as what he’d like to do in the future. Here’s one of the questions and answers featured:

MLP: Hola Pablo! Are you currently or have you ever been employed or done work for Nintendo, a Nintendo subsidiary or a Nintendo affiliate company?

Pablo Belmonte: “Of course! Together with them I have made all kinds of games, publicity campaigns, presentations of new consoles and much more. Although, shamefully enough this has only happened in daydreams and in my sleepÂ…

In reality, I have never worked for them or any form of world conspiracy, I am not a fictional character, Microsoft and Sony donÂ’t use me for secret plans or something like that (like certain people have said around the place…)

He has caught the eyes of many industry specialists. 1up did an interview with him quite some time ago and Reggie Fils-Aime of Nintendo of America has mentioned him as well. It’s a wonder that he doesn’t have a job working for Nintendo yet. Click “Read” to be taken to the full interview.
