Australia to experience Forza 2 earlier than North America
Not as a complete release, of course. But according to a promotional advertisement that circulated for the local scene there in Australia, there’s going to be an exclusive event by the Xbox team “down under,” together with Hoyts cinemas. Called the Big Screen Challenge, fans of Turn 10 Studios’ Forza Motorsport 2 that just went gold will be able to race against each other for AU$ 10,000 worth of prizes.
To be held on Wednesday, May 23 (six days shy off the May 27 release of Forza Motorsport 2 in North America) at the Hoyts Entertainment Center in Moore Park, New South Wales, the event will have gamers vie for the top eight fastest finish times ever, in hopes to win AU$ 5000, three Xbox 360 games and a Forza Motorsport Airbrushed console.
Interested participants, however, will have to register to get an exclusive look of the (final?) version of the game weeks before it releases in Australia. You can hop on over to the registration page and advertisement through the “Read” link provided below. Remember, you’ll be playing this game on a big screen – literally: the Hoyts big screen!
