According to a report from the Australian gaming site PALGN, two Aussie online retailers have already attached price tags to the local versions of games and peripherals for the PS3. As it turns out, Gamehead and Topshop have already updated the product listings which they have on their respective sites, hence the update in prices.

According to the two retailers’ listings, Australian gamers may expect to shell out up to AU$ 79.95 for an extra SIXAXIS, and another AU$ 49.95 for a Blu-ray remote control. As for game titles, third-party games will be going for AU$ 119.95 each, while titles from Sony will be selling for a bit less, at AU$ 99.95.

With just around a month to go before the European and Australian release of Sony’s new console, the price update may have just arrived at an ideal time as it gives everyone due warning and ample time to save up. So everyone, take out that calculator and start budgeting if you want to save up enough to get that expensive, shiny, black box once it finally makes it to your neighborhood.
