wiiNintendo Australia released what could be the most anticipated gaming news of the year down under (unless your heart is  set on a PS3): the official release date of the Wii: December 7. The official SRP: A$399.95.

The maker of the next-gen console, which has adopted the my-lips-are-zipped stance for the past few months, is flooding the world with info, it’s possible to get them all mixed-up.

The official statement also said early Wii owners will have around 20 titles available between the launch date and December 31.

Among the games that will be available on Australia Wii Day include Wii Sports (a compilation of tennis, baseball, golf, bowling and boxing) and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
