If you happen to have a keen interest in fruits, hammers, and skateboards, we’ve got some good news. Australia‘s Office of Film and Literature Classification (OFLC) has recently rated Wonder Boy for the region’s Virtual Console service.
Wonder Boy – the first game in the series – will have players taking control of Tom-Tom, a caveman on a mission to save his girlfriend from the foul clutches of a monster.
This sidescroller will feature various power-ups and tools to help players on the way, including the rather infamous skateboard. Honestly – riding it was downright suicidal. No exact dates have been reported yet, but if it’s been listed by the OFLC, we imagine it’s only a matter of time before the official announcement is released.
