Auto Assault: the Champion of the Green speaks
Auto Assault has been released for quite some time now, and since it’s been a while since we’ve heard something from this NCSoft MMO, we decided to revisit it and check on its whereabouts. We then stumbled upon on an interview with the player who goes by the online name Lornn.
You might be thinking, ‘What’s so important with this guy?!’ Well, it’s because Lornn is simply a member of the Elite Cadre in good standing and a Champion of the Green. He plays the Mutant race and uses the class Champion. He is part of the Tocado Broadcasting Service guild.
Lornn actually started plating Auto Assault around last August. But bug reports and the like prior to the game’s beta kept him from buying it at once. Accordingly, he prefers a PvP environment than competing with an AI and says there is nothing like testing yourself against someone else. The other MMOs he’d played include EQ, EQ2, E&B, Eve, CoH, CoV and Horizons.
Also, Lornn reveals that he can actually adapt with any kind of system and as such, he hasn’t found any game that didn’t agree with his type of play. But he was quick to point out that Auto Assault is one of the best games ever. “I love to hide in a group of xenos in view distance of an op and wait for a human ormek to come out alone and then I send them packing,” he quips.
“I think the best part about AA is that no matter how much time you do or don’t have you can jump right in and do something. You dont need 10 guys with ya; you can do it all yourself leveling up.” answers Lornn when asked what he likes best about the game.
