Best Buy PS3 stash: seeing the good in the bad

Dankoleary posted a pic at the WarFront Forums and reported how he’d spotted a stash of PS3 units at a Best Buy. He narrates that he went to a branch at Long Beach, CA, to look for DVDs, and he heard a message on the PA system that announced: “Attention shoppers, we have 17 of the all new Playstation 3 in stock. People were in line this morning, but you can get one right now!” He had to see it for himself, and here’s the pic he took:

what's at the end of the rainbow?

He said that “there was no rush, no line, and just a huge stack of consoles there.” Kinduv a bit too negative for our liking, so we’ll just go ahead and splash in a dose of what’s the upside to this.

I just recently got to talk to Mr. Brightside, and sure enough, there actually is a bright side to this. Despite feeling disheartened by this bit of news, someone like me can’t help but feel optimistic about it. While some people might be laughing at how “the PS3 units are being ignored”, here’s a positive thought: at least now, we know where to find a PS3 unit and the pic above is proof for it.

To hell with Sony haters. I know where the end of the rainbow is.
