Big rigs in this new Motorstorm trailer
It’s very rare that you see giant trucks flying around in a racing game. That Big Mutha Truckers game for the PS2 doesn’t count because, even if it was fun, it’s less of a race and more of a time trial. That being said, Evolution Studios‘ MotorStorm does a pretty nifty job of making trailer trucks race, and we can’t wait for it to hit Sony‘s new console.
This latest video offering of MotorStorm goodness comes straight from the destruction derby school of truck driving. Starting with a truck ramming into a wrecked car and flying across a chasm to keep racing, you can see four or five trucks jockeying for position by using speed boosters. You’ll also notice how extreme use of boosting ups your temperature gauge at the lower left, so when we all start playing this game, we’ll have to make sure we don’t conk our cars out from liberal boosting.
The second half of the video sees you in first person mode as you try to race past a very scary looking army truck of some sort. Let’s just say you wouldn’t want to be in the actual truck you’re driving with that bad boy on the road. In any case, we’ll all have to be patient for its release in March, so we might as well while away the time with a good video, right? Enjoy!
