Things don’t seem to be coming as planned for Capcom‘s Bionic Commando Rearmed (Bionic Commando Master D’s Revival Plan in Japan). Just a couple of days back, the publisher had a demo session for the game especially for the Japanese press as well as a release date.

The download-only remake was then announced to hit the Japanese PS3 PSN market on July 30 while the Xbox 360 XBL version will be coming the following day, July 31. All’s good then, right? Wrong. Just earlier today, Capcom has revealed that the game has hit a snag and so its release date will have to be pushed back.

How late is the game? Well we don’t know. But we’re thinking it’s a pretty big snag considering that the release date has been tagged with a very cryptic TBA. For all we know, that could mean a release next month. Or two. Or three.

Anyway, lots of Japanese fans are sure disappointed. And somehow, those outside the territory as well are, we imagine. So what does this Japanese delay mean for the international version? We can’t tell as well since an international release date was never really provided by Capcom.

Bionic Commando: Rearmed (XBL, PSN, PC) was previously delayed last May. We’ll be sure to let you in on more news and updates regarding this matter so be sure to come back for more.
