Bioshock Screens: Welcome to the City of Rapture

Guys, you know what? We better stop complaining about the garbage and the expensive cost of living. We better stop whining about our sometimes crude politicians. Know that other places have it worse and we might be next if we don’t get our acts together. Take for example, the underwater city of Rapture.

Rapture was Eden-like, its citizens never needing anything. All that changed after a dispute over genetic experiments broke between the scientists and the entrepreneurs. And when things like these happen down there, they don’t sue each other and get media exposure. What they do is create humanoid mutants and launch a genetic arms race.

Should you feel like visiting Rapture, we don’t suggest for you to jump over the Pacific Ocean. You can just instead wait for Irrational GamesBioshock, a first-person shooter game that has a perfect mix of RPG and science fiction. It’s such a pity the game won’t see release until 2007. But it is a good thing though, we have these new screenshots for you.
