Bizarre Creations: racer on Wii possible
Bizarre Creations, the development team responsible for the racing classic Project Gotham Racing 4, has expressed its desire (and interest) on making a racing game of similar ilk on the Nintendo Wii.
It seems that Reggie Fils-Aime‘s display of the Wii Steering Wheel back in Nintendo’s E3 Press Conference has captured the imagination of more than just fans, as Commercial Director Sarah Chudley thinks it’s cool. Her exact statement, presented as is:
We enjoy working on any technology, whatever the capabilities – as they’re all a challenge. A Wii racer sounds interesting, especially with the cool racing wheel, but of course we can’t discuss any plans for the future as yet, sorry!
While it’s no guarantee that we’ll be getting something along the lines of Project Gotham Racing 4 on the Wii in the near future, it helps that Mario Kart Wii isn’t the only racing game we’ll be looking forward to. Here’s hoping it gets realized – after all, the Wii Racing Wheel just bleeds a lot of potential. In the meantime though, you can check out the full interview from where this statement was gleaned via the read link below.
