Black DS Lite Launches in Japan
The DS Lite launched in black today for the expectedly really long lines in Japan! Famitsu got some pictures of the action! By opening time, the line was already 200 people long at this particular store. At peak time, the line was 500 people long. The console sold out an hour after the store opened! The lines had a much higher percentage of men this time when compared to the Pink DS Lite launch which had more women.
On the software side, Final Fantasy III was the most popular game as it continued to sell out everywhere as people snatched it up alongside their new DS Lite system!
