Bloomberg: phone 16, Apple Watch Series 10 and fresh AirPods to be announced on September 10

Apple is reportedly planning to hold its fall Apple event on September 10, where it will introduce the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro, along with new AirPods, and Apple Watches. Mark Gurman, a Bloomberg reporter, says that the iPhone 16 series will look similar to the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro. The iPhone 16 models’ main feature will be the new capacitive button that will be placed on the side. This button will be used to take photos and videos by pressing it. Apple has not confirmed the date for the iPhone 16 announcement, but the company usually announces the new iPhones on the second Tuesday in September. Bloomberg’s report would indicate that Apple would continue this pattern. You can expect to receive media invites within the next few weeks. The iPhone 16s’ display and camera will be upgraded. Apple will also highlight the AI story behind these phones, thanks to the A18 chip. This chip will have more powerful processing capabilities that will drive Apple Intelligence. Apple Watch Series 10 is also expected with larger displays, possibly rivaling the Ultra’s. The watches’ cases will also be thinner, which is one of the biggest updates in the Watches’ recent history. New generations of AirPods (not the AirPod Pros) are also expected. Apple will introduce two new models of AirPods that include noise cancellation for the first. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says Apple is also ramping up testing of new Macs equipped with M4 chips.
