Coming soon to the Xbox Live arcade and the PlayStation Network, 3 on 3 NHL Arcade will feature 40 NHL stars and zero rules.

The game is being developed by EA Canada, who are also the same people who made NHL 09. Realism’s not a consideration this time around, though (as you may have guessed from the bobblehead thing). Game changing power-ups drop into play regularly and the control scheme’s been simplified to keep things light and fun. It can support up to 3 players on either side and has online play. I’d compare it to games like Mario Strikers, just to give you an idea.

The game is set for release on February, 2009 and will cost around 800 MS points (360) or US$ 9.99 (PS3).
