Hey, look what we have from the people over at X-power (c/o 1UP). They say these are the screenshots of the upcoming release of Bomberman in the Xbox Live arcade. Don’t believe us? Check these babies out:

   

Bomberman is one of those simple yet unforgettable classics from the 8-bit age. The mechanics are quirky yet addictive. The franchise had some incarnations in later-gen platforms but none was ever as successful as the initial offering from Hudson Soft.

Though Microsoft has not given its confirmation, the word is that the XBLA remastered version will be a multiplayer game with all the fun stuff like detonator bombs and other power-ups. Get ready to outfox and out-hustle the other online bombers soon.
