IGN recently pulled out all the stops to get everyone some quality time with the post-beta goodness of Halo 3. They’ve got a three-page article up that chronicles all the details they picked up from Bungie Studios regarding the game.

For those of you wondering what goodies they have in store, they’ve got information and screens on some of the multiplayer maps gamers will be able to play in (Last Resort, Shrine, and Epitaph). They’ve also got a preview of two new pieces of tech that will be usable in Halo 3: the Brute Chopper, a rideable vehicle that looks like a cross between a Harley motorbike and a futuristic steamroller, and the Jammer, a new item that allows you to wreak havoc on the motion tracking systems of enemies and allies alike.

For those looking for the finer points of the game’s nuances, their in-depth look also covers the customization features for Spartan armor, known as armor permutations, as well as the new ability to save, replay, and share matches and in-game screenshots. All in all, that’s a lot of Halo 3 goodness we’re sure you guys will definitely like. Enjoy!
