Burridge joins Eidos after leaving Activision

Eidos fills in the blanks in the ranks - Image 1Bob Burridge, UK sales director at Activision for five years, recently quit and jumped the fence toward Wii-supporting Eidos. He reunites with his old boss Scott Dodkins, who is now international boss of Eidos, to take the position of general manager for UK operations. Scott Dodkins also used to be at Activision, running the show for most of the European success of the US publisher.

Eidos’ own head of sales, John Clark, moved over to Sega, resulting in a re-structuring of the UK operations. To replace him, Eidos promotes senior national account manager Cheryl O’Connor. Jon Brooke moves up to marketing manager of UK operations. It’s like a juggling of sorts. Corporate pinball, if you will.

This management re-structuring is hopefully for the best as Eidos does have a whole lot of sequels promised.
