Call of Duty 3 – Gameplay Footage
Some nifty footage from Activision‘s next entry in its World War 2 first person shooter franchise, Call of Duty 3, has come to light. What we’ve got here is a soldier moving carefully through a war torn environment even as shells explode and buildings crumble all around him. There’s also a cool segment that gives you an idea of how hand to hand combat will work in-game. Though this footage comes from the Xbox 360 version, what we’ve heard is that the PS3 version will sport a few extra light sources among other minor visual flourishes (cue flame wars). Before you start though, I should add that it is expected that both iterations will be nearly indistiguishable from one another.
