This is such a cute on-topic post for World of Warcraft that has nothing to do with actual gameplay. If you actually felt like making a silly remark on the forums about being a sweet ‘lil gnome artificer, now would probably be the best time to join WoW’s official bulletin boards.

In the spirit of the season (of death, lighted pumpkins, and the gathering of numerous cosplay fanatics in the middle of the street), the mods at Blizzard‘s forums opted to give every member of the forums a trick and a treat. You could be the most powerful Tauren in all of the servers, or a lowly newbie making his way by asking questions about fishing, but for the next few days, both of you will be equals.

The reaction is somewhat mixed, since newcomers might have trouble actually knowing if they’re talking to Horde or Alliance folk. Other than that, numerous jokes have been made as a result of this lighthearted development for the Halloween season. As Alyas of Wildhammer remarked, “We are Candy Corn, resistance is futile.” You can’t have a better invitation than that, can you?
