Capcom: Super Street Fighter IV is coming as a stand-alone, teaser trailer
And it did arrive. A couple of days ago, there were rumors regarding the impending arrival of a Super Street Fighter IV. When it first came out, we were open to the speculation of it being a mere expansion of sorts. Well it’s not. It’s just been revealed to GameSpot by producer Yoshinori Ono that it will be a stand-alone version.
And it did arrive. A couple of days ago, there were rumors regarding the impending arrival of a Super Street Fighter IV (PS3, Xbox 360). When it first came out, we were open to the speculation of it being a mere expansion of sorts. Well it’s not. It’s just been revealed to GameSpot by producer Yoshinori Ono that it will be a stand-alone version.
He characterizes this version as having improved online features, balance tweaks to all existing fighters, and eight new characters. Of these new characters, three have already been announced: T. Hawk, Dee Jay, and Juri.
So are we getting this for the full stand-alone price as well? That would be a no. While Capcom did not divulge the price point yet, what is guaranteed is that those who already have Street Fighter IV (PS3, Xbox 360) will get a “bonus” for Super.
This one’s slated for a Spring 2010 release for both the PS3 and Xbox 360. Sorry, PC folks. They didn’t mention anything about you guys getting this one — at least not yet.
In the meantime, here’s the teaser trailer:
