Yes, there will be an Online World Championships for Fight Night Round 4 (Xbox 360 and PS3). This much was confirmed by game producer Dean Richards at the EA European Showcase earlier this month.

Said Richards, “We wanted to bring lots of great online experiences to Round 4, and one of them is online world championships.” He explained that the competitions will not be featuring licenses boxers, but will instead be focused on skill. “It’s skill versus skill and who’s gonna win.”

Additional information on the championships say that it will also be based on regions.
